38-85mm (2.2x) f/4.2-8.7 powerful zoom lens moves from wide angle (38mm) to full telephoto (85mm) in just 2.5 seconds. Zoom settings are quickly and easily adjusted with two oversize buttons on the front of the camera, located where the user's fingers are naturally positioned during use.
Advanced 3-Point "Smart" Autofocus system uses a 3-point, 280-step system to identify and focus subjects for foolproof shooting. Subjects are perfectly focused even when out of the center of the frame.
Large Mode Dial for simplified operation provides instant access to all the camera's functions. Turn the dial to select the Self Timer, Real Time shutter release, or one of the five flash modes.
Versatile, high-powered flash provides a flash distance range up to 17.4 feet. Five modes offer users a choice of Auto Flash with Red-eye Reduction for shooting live subjects in low light situations; Auto Flash without Red-eye Reduction for photographing inanimate objects in low light or indoor settings; Flash ON to soften shadows in bright conditions; Flash OFF to shoot only with available light; and Slow Synchro flash when using the camera's self timer function.
