The optional EPSON Image Authentication System(IAS) provides image authentication directly from the point of capture in a standard JPEG file format. It embeds an invisible digital fingerprint into any photo taken with an IAS-enabled EPSON PhotoPC(R) 800 or EPSON PhotoPC 750Z digital camera. IAS's tamper-detection level is so high, it can detect if even a single bit of an EPSON IAS-protected digital photo has been tampered with. And IAS is secure. Combining sophisticated security techniques with 128 bit encryption, IAS provides a high level of protection against the use of forged IAS-protected images.
