- According to JVC, the camcorder's 680,000 pixel CCD with "Pixel Shift Technology" is capable of capturing crystal-clear still images up to UXGA (1600 x 1200) resolution. The still images are stored on a removable multimedia card, which is independent of the videotape recording.
