Nikon is pleased to announce the introduction of the Nikon TTL Macro Speedlight SB-29. Designed specifically for closeup photography, the SB-29 is a compact, battery-operated unit that features dual-rotatable flash tubes, allowing photographers to select flat front lighting or selected relief lighting.
Since the main body attaches to the controller, the SB-29 is compatible with lenses whose filter attachments rotate when focusing. The SB-29 also offers flexible flash output combinations. Photographers can choose to have either the right or left modules flash, or both together. Moreover, users can set the flash output balance (left:right, right:left) to 1:4. And with modeling flash mode, the SB-29 fires a series of weak flashes allowing photographers to confirm through the viewfinder what effect the flash will have on the scene, before taking the shot
