The Sigma SA-5 was introduced at photokina 1996 by the Sigma corporation. The SA-5 retains the features of the versatile SA 300N with the addition of the following new features: cross type autofocus sensor that is quick and accurate in a wide range of lighting conditions and autofocus situations; due to the improved algorithms there is less lag time between the time the shutter release button is pressed, the lens is focused and the shutter is released. And the SA-5 when used with Sigma's new electronic flash EF430 Super, allows you to shoot a shutter speed up to 1/4000 sec. for flash photography. The Sigma SA-5 has multiple exposure capability up to 9 images per frame. It is available in matte "Zen" and chrome finish.
