Transfer and Store Analog Video into the Digital Domain: By using Sony's new DVMC-DA1, any analog video o
r audio source can be stored as digital data in a computer or on Digital Video Cassette. The DVMC-DA1 allows analog sources such as 8mm, Hi8TM video or VHS tapes to be converted into a digital signal for easy strorage and manipulation. Using the Media Con
verter i.LINK interface, send the converted digital signal to a PC using a still image capture device such as Sony's DVBK-2000, the new Sony VAIO(R) Digital Studio Series Desktop Computers, or a Sony Digital Handycam(R) camcorder. Once converted to digital, v
